To increase the transparency and auditability of bitcoin-related QR standards, it would make a ton of sense to produce a standalone app (for all platforms, Win/Mac/Linux/iOS/Android) that is capable of encoding from hex/text into animated QRs, and vice versa, decoding back from QRs to hex/text. Being able to parse/decode PSBT info, & potentially identify suspicious data would also be important functionality. This would be an invaluable tool for developers & security researchers and could potentially promote increased trust and transparency as animated QR exchange becomes more widely adopted. Relative ease of auditing the data is one of the major advantages of QR exchange over NFC or other wireless protocols; the creation of such a tool would be a worthwhile investment of BlockchainCommons resources.
