Aija

Aija. = town; territory of Naphtali; part of northern kingdom of Israel; conquered by Ben-Hadad of Syria during reign of king Baasha; conquered by Tiglath-Pileser of Assyria during reign of Pekah. Other forms include: Ai. Aija is also referred to as: Ai (of Ephraim). Aija is a subentry. The primary entry is Ai (of Ephraim).
