@ryanmelt and @jmthomas are no longer with Ball Aerospace so we can't say as to what will happen with COSMOS. However, we are committed to developing OpenC3 as the natural successor to COSMOS and we will both be committing exclusively to OpenC3 going forward. We will be slowly moving open issues from COSMOS over to OpenC3 and addressing them there. Please check out our website at openc3.com for more information. |

@jmthomas, can you comment at all on what lead to the split? Was there a divergence in vision for the project? Or perhaps a lack of financial support? Separately, how do you plan to fund two full-time developers working on OpenC3? Do you already have a funding stream in place? Are there plans to offered funded support packages in the future? |
