Bypassing password prompt

Is there a way to bypass the password prompt?

I have COSMOS running behind an HTTPS proxy which already takes care of user authentication.
Ideally, COSMOS would have an option to read the X-WEBAUTH-USER HTTP header.

The COSMOS Enterprise Edition supports user authentication but the open source version will not. For the open source version the single default user needs some form of authentication which is what the password prompt is about. You're welcome to bypass this in your own instantiation if you want.
