Starting with AKS version 1.32, Azure Linux 3.0 is the default Azure Linux node OS for AKS clusters and node pools.
Please note that Azure Linux 3.0 is currently rolling out to all production regions.
Until rollout is complete, if you create an Azure Linux nodepool with Kubernetes 1.32 in an unavailable region then you may receive the following error:
(InvalidOSSKU) OSSKU='AzureLinux' is invalid, details: Azure Linux is not supported on Kubernetes 1.32 temporarily Code: InvalidOSSKU Message: OSSKU='AzureLinux' is invalid, details: Azure Linux is not supported on Kubernetes 1.32 temporarily
Azure Linux 3.0 should finish deploying to all regions in the next 1-2 weeks. I will update this issue when it has released to all regions.

Workaround: If you need to use Azure Linux 3.0 in the meantime you can register the Azure Linux 3.0 Preview Feature Flag on AKS 1.31
