Gutenberg v10.2.1 - Copy/Paste adding space before and after text

Steps to reproduce the behavior

(Windows-only issue)

1. Go to the page editor.
2. Copy some text.
3. Paste in the middle of a word.
4. See error.

What I expected to happen

Text that is pasted into the editor pastes only the text.

What actually happened

When text is pasted into the editor, a space is added before and after the pasted text.

Happens on simple sites and Atomic sites with Gutenberg plugin activated.

Affects all simple sites and Atomic sites where Gutenberg plugin is active, only for people using Windows.

I experience the same problem. Copying content from Gutenberg wit CTRL + C adds leading and trailing space, but CTRL + X does not. Copying from other sources and pasting into Gutenberg does not add additional spaces. So it seems like Gutenberg is adding the spaces when copying with CTRL + C.
