Reader: Embedded Google Maps not rendering in full post view

Steps to reproduce

1. Starting at URL: https://wordpress.com/post
2. Create a new post and embed a Google Map (Regular embed vs custom map does not matter)
3. Publish post, and view in Reader

What I expected

For the Google Map to be visible, as it is when viewing the front end of the site.

What happened instead

A blank space appears where the map is supposed to be.

Browser / OS version

Confirmed in Firefox 51.0.1, Chrome 56, and Safari 10.0.3
