Heap dump: https://gist.github.com/4680412

I attempted to use a newer version (20130128) of TomEE 1.5.2-SNAPSHOT (which has Tomcat 7.0.35 dependency) with Atmosphere 1.0.9 (with PrimeFaces Push via latest PrimeFaces 3.5-SNAPSHOT) on production server, and while while users were logged in, PrimeFaces Push (facesmessages) were being pushed to 'targeted' user channels (successfully), but TomEE/tomcat7.0.35 stopped running as Windows service on the production server.

Also, I attempted to use Atmosphere 1.0.6 (and 1.0.8) with the same version of TomEE 1.5.2-SNAPSHOT (tomcat 7.0.35), and tomee/tomcat7.0.35 stopped running as a Windows service on the production server.

Please note that this issue did 'not' occur when I used Atmosphere 1.0.6 with TomEE 1.5.2-SNAPSHOT (2013-01-14 version that had Tomcat 7.0.34 dependency).

Production server = Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit 32GB RAM
PrimeFaces 3.5-SNAPSHOT later/latest versions (released after PrimeFaces Push / Atmosphere 1.0.6 source code changes)

A core dump cannot be created by Atmosphere...this looks like a bug in Tomcat. File a bug there I would say.
