Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5 CPU M 520 @ 2.40GHz
Memory: 3.7 GiB of RAM
What you expected would happen
I started the installer, and got to the select a network screen, and would select an unencrypted (open) WiFi Network
What actually happened
I started the installer, and got to the select a network screen, and saw only encrypted WiFi Networks (to which I did not know the password).
Steps needed to reproduce the bug
Start installer
Select language, keyboard, etc.
Get to WiFi selection page
Extra info
I was able to install to a VM, but in the VM, the network appeared wired.
And then I was able to install at home where I knew the password to the encrypted WiFi network.
It is only when I need to connect to an open access point that I cannot install.
Possible fixes

With version 1.09, the sequence was a bit different. Instead of the menu presenting me with something like "WiFi detected" and a list of encrypted SSIDs, the installer exited saying no network, suggesting I run a separate script (I think it was wifi-menu). Anyway, same result as v1.0.6, v1.0.7, and v1.0.8: Only SSIDs of encrypted networks were listed.
