This script checks the connectivity to an AWS Aurora Serverless endpoint by an sending a simple SQL statement. Please note that you must enable the Data API endpoint in the configuration of your Aurora Serverless database.
As this script is not intended for daily use it is not parametrized. Please adjust the variables according to your setup.
