After pressing sign in button and choosing email, it does not show homepage etc. Please help @AleBarreto

Go to Authentication in your Firebase Console. Then go to Sign-In Method. Then Enable Google as a sign in provider

still after having done that the MainActivity class doesn't start , see those task

try after adding debug/release certificate fingerprint in console setting of app at firebase.

it worked for me after adding SHA finger print,

i have changed the api key and added package name and sha key also and i enabled google sign in on firebase too but still not worked
