Date range behaviour in Timeline unexpected

This is rather a small change in behaviour than a new feature, but if I'm wrong in this category, please let me know.

• I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate.
• I have searched the documentation and believe that my question is not covered.

Issue

The date range fields behave a little unexpected. As we don't set the time for the filter date range, I'd expect the start date to behave like it has the time 00:00:00 set and the end date would behave like it has 23:59:59 set for the time.

So ff you want to know, what I've done on 14. Dec 2021 I'd instinctivly select it as start and end, but currently it necessary to select two different days, while you have to know the given end date will be excluded from the results.
