Copy not working

Using Acode v1.8.7 (330) and I can confirm, that copying is still broken but in a bit another way. I can select text but usually copying text will erase text instead of copying it. Then I use undo button as often as needed. There is a difference, how text is selected before copying. Either manually by dragging appropriate handlings or using select all button from floating toolbar. After trying several times the copying finally somehow succeeds. Very annoying bug.

Besides, when trying to cut, using appropriate button on floating toolbar, Acode will not cut previously selected text but randomly part of text which is not expected part. Not sure, whether it is a new bug but it seems to be tightly connected with copying as copy will cut instead and cut will work randomly in an unexpected way. So, cut is currently impossible, we have just to use backspace button to manually delete text. When we need cut in real meaning: remove text with copying it to clipboard, we have to copy in first place (which is also broken and painful to succeed) and then manually delete as cut just won't work.

Tried to clear cache and even all stored data of installed Acode program via Android 11 Settings to start from scratch but didn't help at all.

Installed from Google Play as in F-droid official repository is old 1.8.6 version....

Overall look and feel, especially keeping inserted but unsaved text across program restarts sounds impressive but broken copy, cut functionality, which are core functions for me I mainly use, enforces me unfortunately to search and use another program. I still hope these core functions will be fixed soon but I see current bug report is already more than a year old......
