Thank you to all that participated in the ACEMS SportsStats2017 Workshop!

It was great to have all the expertise in the room. As a next step I look forward to getting together again to explore the details of potential collaborations.

Within the discussion at the conclusion of the workshop the following were identified as potential actions moving forward.

1. Training for Sports Researchers - R, Bayesian, visualisation, predictive modelling.
2. Journals (advocacy to create acceptance and awareness of a wider range of acceptable statistical methods)
3. Common stats issue - "Small n"
4. Opportunities:

   • load management (injury & health)
