This is very specifically geared to my use case (lastpass to store keys, and SSO/2FA via jumpcloud, bash on mac os). It would be pretty easy to adapt to other situations/requirements, though. I'm hoping others can use it as a reference to build on so they don't have to resort to using their phones for 2fa all of the time.

jctotpwith whatever your string is named in lastpass injc2fascript - replace
lastpass@mccroreys.comwith your lastpass username ingetpwdscript - place both files in
~/binand make sure the directory is in your path - store the key for your jumpcloud 2fa in lastpass (I use the string
jctotpfor mine, but whatever works). - You can generate a new string in the jumpcloud console (Security -> "Reset TOTP")
You will need to use your lastpass password to retrieve the key for the jc2fa script. The session will last for a while,but I generally have to enter my password several times in a day's work.
